Role Description This is an internship role for a Journalist in a hybrid work setting, with the primary location in Indore and some flexibility for work from home. The intern will support daily news gathering by researching stories, conducting interviews, and verifying facts from multiple sources.

Responsibilities include drafting news articles, assisting in writing press releases, and contributing to editorial planning under the guidance of senior journalists and editors. The role may involve attending events or press conferences, monitoring local developments, and helping with basic broadcasting or digital content tasks.



Interns are expected to meet deadlines, follow ethical journalism standards, and collaborate with the editorial team to ensure accurate and engaging coverage.

Qualifications

Robust Writing and News Writing skills, with the ability to produce explicit, concise, and engaging content.

Experience or interest in Press Releases, including structuring key messages and adapting content for media distribution.

Solid Research abilities for fact-checking, sourcing information, and supporting investigative or feature stories.

Interest or basic exposure to Broadcasting, such as reporting for audio, video, or digital news formats.

Pursuing or having completed a degree/diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, or a related field.

Robust command of English and at least one regional language (Hindi or local language preferred) for local reporting.

Ethical approach to journalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work under deadlines in a quick-paced environment.

Basic computer literacy and familiarity with digital news platforms, social media, or content management tools.
