Role Description The Hardware Engineer will work on-site in Andhra Pradesh, India in a full time capacity, focusing on the design, development, and testing of hardware for customized drone components. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and reviewing electronic circuits, selecting and integrating hardware components, and collaborating with cross-functional teams on system architecture. The role involves creating schematics, supporting PCB layout, validating prototypes, and troubleshooting hardware issues in lab and field environments.
The Hardware
Engineer will also document designs, support manufacturing and quality teams,
and contribute to continuous improvement in performance, safety, and reliability of drone hardware.
Qualifications Robust hardware engineering skills, including Hardware Development and Hardware integration for embedded and robotics systems.
Proficiency in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design for drone or similar electromechanical products.
Knowledge of Computer Hardware, including interfaces, microcontrollers, sensors, and communication modules.
Experience with PCB design tools, schematic capture, and basic simulation or analysis software.
Understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, EMI/EMC considerations, and hardware safety standards.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
Ability to work on-site in a lab and workshop workplace, perform hands-on testing, and use standard electronics test equipment.
Effective communication skills, ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, and strong problem-solving mindset.
Experience in UAVs, robotics, or embedded systems hardware is an advantage.
