Company Description House of Ruya is a boutique architecture and interior design studio based in Bangalore, founded by Aishwarya Govind. The studio focuses on creating spaces that manifest and reflect the environment and personalities of its clients. Role Description This is a full time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru.

The Interior

Designer will collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, translate concepts into functional designs, and develop mood boards, layouts, and material palettes. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing design presentations, coordinating with architects and contractors, and overseeing implementation to ensure design integrity. The role also involves creating construction drawings, selecting FF&E; (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), managing vendor relationships,



and conducting site visits to monitor progress and quality.

Qualifications

Solid Interior Design skills with experience in concept development, material selection, and FF&E; specification.

Proficiency in Space Planning to create functional, user-centered layouts for residential and/or commercial projects.

Knowledge of Architecture principles to collaborate effectively with architects and other project stakeholders.

Ability to produce accurate Construction Drawings and documentation for execution and coordination on site.

Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar), and basic MS Office skills.

A degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year work experience

Solid visual, communication, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and time management.

Experience coordinating with vendors, contractors, and craftsmen; prior studio or site experience is an advantage.
