Role Description This is a contract, hybrid iOS Developer role based in Mumbai, with some flexibility for work from home. The iOS Developer will design, build, and maintain iOS applications that support The Riti’s digital presence, including features such as browsing collections, personalized recommendations, and secure checkout. Day-to-day tasks include developing new app features, integrating APIs, optimizing performance, fixing bugs, and collaborating with designers and product stakeholders to ensure a smooth user experience.

The role also involves writing clean, testable code, conducting code reviews, and staying current with iOS and mobile development best practices.



The iOS Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to align the app experience with the brand’s values around empowerment and inclusivity.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess robust skills in iOS Development and iOS frameworks (such as Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit).

Candidates should possess skills in Mobile Application Development and building Mobile Applications with a focus on performance and usability.

Candidates should possess skills in Software Development, including object-oriented programming, version control (e.g., Git), and debugging.

Experience with RESTful APIs, JSON, and integrating backend services into mobile applications is beneficial.

Understanding of UI/UX principles for mobile, including responsive design and accessibility, is preferred.

Prior experience releasing apps to the Apple App Store and managing app updates is an advantage.

A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, is beneficial.

Ability to collaborate in a hybrid work workplace, communicate clearly, and align with The Riti’s values around inclusivity and empowerment.
