Title: Lead SI/PI/EMC Engineer
Location: Bangalore
Experience: 10+ yrs or Roles & Responsibilities
Delivers creative Signal Integrity, power integrity and EMC solutions for L&T; Semiconductor products at Chip, package, and PoC/Validation platform level.
Modelling and Optimization of vias, connectors, sockets; breakouts and various system components in 3D EM tools.
Ability to Lead, mentor and train junior engineers
System-level signal integrity simulations for high-speed links including PCle, USB, DDRx, LPDDRx, Ethernet, MIPI and other interfaces.
Develops and analyses power delivery networks including 2D and 3D model extraction and noise analysis across die/C4 bumps, silicon, package, sockets, and boards
Constant improvements of SI and PI models using data from lab measurements and modelling tool or methodology updates.
Substrate and board layout SI guidelines creation, review, and post layout SI extractions.
Simulation automation, data gathering, analysis and visualization using JMP,
MATLAB or similar tools. Handson experience in various 2D/3D tools such as Sigrity PowerSI, Ansys Siwave, HFSS, Spice and Keysight ADS
Prospect to work in a agile cross functional role to optimize package, PCB, ASIC, mixed signal circuit
Experience with various power conversion topologies, DC/AC Inverters, Motor Control, high voltage/high power converters
Conduct Power Integrity (DC/AC) and EMI/EMC simulations for high-voltage DC-DC converters using tools like Ansys AEDT. Delivers power integrity and EMI/EMC solutions for L&T; Semiconductor products including Chip/package and SiC/IGBT High voltage Power modules.
Advanced EMI filter design and test to optimize performance and reduce noise Excellent technical knowhow to drive technical paper and patent filing Eligibility: 10+ yrs of experience with BTech/MTech in E&C;, E&E;, Power Electronics
