Role Description The Marine Automation Engineer is a full time, on-site role based in Kochi. The engineer will design, install, commission, and maintain marine automation systems, including control, monitoring, and safety systems on vessels and marine equipment. Day-to-day responsibilities include diagnosing system issues, performing corrective and preventive maintenance, calibrating sensors and instruments, and ensuring seamless integration of electrical and automation components.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, preparing technical documentation and reports, supporting sea trials, and ensuring compliance with relevant marine standards and regulations.



The engineer will also provide technical support to clients, assist in system upgrades, and contribute to continuous improvement of automation solutions.

Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Automation and Process Control for marine systems.

Candidates should possess solid Electrical Engineering knowledge relevant to marine environments.

Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting abilities for complex control and automation issues.

Candidates should possess experience or familiarity with Robotics and advanced control technologies.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Marine Engineering, or a related field.

Experience with marine PLCs, SCADA, and control panels, along with understanding of marine classification and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical and control schematics, and prepare transparent technical documentation.

Robust analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary teams.

Willingness to travel to vessels, yards, and client sites as required, and to work in marine operational environments.
