Role Description This is a full time, on-site Owner role at GJD Accounting - Gabriel Jiménez Durand, based in Coimbatore. The Owner oversees overall firm operations, including managing client relationships, supervising accounting and tax services, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and local laws. Daily responsibilities include reviewing financial statements and reports, setting business strategy, monitoring revenue and expenses, and guiding staff on accounting standards and best practices.

The role also involves developing new business opportunities, maintaining quality control across all engagements, and establishing internal policies and processes to support sustainable growth. The Owner is expected to provide leadership, make informed decisions, and represent the firm professionally with clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications

Solid knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and financial reporting, with proven experience in public accounting or a related field.





Demonstrated ability to manage firm operations, including budgeting, resource planning, and performance oversight.

Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and basic business productivity tools.

Excellent client service skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and build long-term relationships.

Leadership and people-management capabilities, including mentoring, team development, and conflict resolution.

Sound business judgment, problem-solving skills, and a high level of integrity and professional ethics.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline; professional certifications (such as CA, CPA, or equivalent) are highly beneficial.

Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore and adapt to local regulatory, tax, and business settings.
