Lead Technical Writer

Product documentation helps our customers, partners, and employees better understand how to configure and use our products to solve their business needs. As a Technical Writer on the product documentation team at Tektronix, you’ll have the opportunity to apply both your writing and your leadership skills, as well as help us define and continually refine our processes

Experience: 3 - 5 years

Location: Bangalore (Tektronix office, Godrej Centre, near Swami vivekananda road metro station)

Job requirement skilled writer:
Looking for an experienced technical writer who can contribute writing User Manuals, Data Sheets, Programmer Manuals, Service Manuals etc.
Writer must also be familiar with the graphical tools like Illustrator, PhotoShop, Snagit etc.




Familiar with Agile Methodologies.
Should be able to communicate with various Hardware/Software development teams to understand the contents and collect data.
Education: BSc/MSc/Diploma/BTech in electronics.

Must Have
Excellent command over English language.
Valuable knowledge of Document Development Life Cycle (DDLC).
Experience in Technical Documents writing (Ex. User Manual, Data Sheets, Programmer’s manual etc).

Valuable to Have
Preferred experience with Tools like AuthorIT, CCMS, Adobe illustrator, snagit.
Positive to have experience with creating technical drawings.
