Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver enterprise-scale data products supporting Supply Chain analytics and AI initiatives. You will lead technical design, mentor engineers, and build scalable cloud-native data solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities
Design and build scalable data pipelines and data products on GCP.
Develop solutions using Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.
Create robust data models and ETL/ELT pipelines.
Lead technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering best practices.
Optimize data performance, scalability, reliability, and cost.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Architects, Analysts, and business stakeholders.
Mentor team members and support Agile delivery, production support, and continuous improvement.





Required Qualifications
8+ years of Data Engineering experience with technical leadership.
Robust hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
Expert-level skills in Dataproc, BigQuery, SQL, and dbt.
Experience building cloud-native ETL/ELT pipelines and data models.
Knowledge of Git, CI/CD, and contemporary engineering practices.
Robust analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Apache Airflow, Kafka, PySpark, and Python.
Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, and data quality.
Experience in Retail, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or Warehouse Management (WMS).
