Company Description Millennium Machine Works is a multi-specialty engineering company specializing in contract machining of precision parts using advanced CNC machines. The company designs and manufactures jigs, fixtures, and gauges for the manufacturing industry, and produces plastic molded parts, sheet metal parts, fine blanked components, and electro-mechanical parts.

Works is progressive and service-focused, supporting workholding fixtures, drill jigs, and industrial limit gauges. The organization also offers contract machining on CNC turning centers, CNC vertical turning lathes (VTL), and vertical machining centers (VMC), serving domestic and export customers.

Role Description This is a full time, on-site Machine Operator role based in Coimbatore.

The Machine

Operator will set up, operate, and monitor CNC and conventional machines to produce precision components according to specifications.

Responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, adjusting machine settings, performing basic preventive maintenance, and ensuring parts meet quality and safety standards. The role involves using hand tools and measuring instruments, documenting production data, and collaborating with supervisors and colleagues to maintain productive workflow.

Operator will also support continuous improvement initiatives and follow all workplace safety and housekeeping guidelines.

4+ years of professional work experience in similar a role.

Candidates should possess solid skills in machine operation and working with various types of machinery.

Candidates should possess skills in quality control, including using measuring instruments and checking parts against specifications.

Candidates should possess skills in safely using hand tools and basic mechanical tools in a production environment.

Candidates should possess effective communication skills for coordinating with supervisors, team members, and support functions.

Prior experience in CNC or conventional machining in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred.

Ability to read engineering drawings, follow work instructions, and adhere to safety procedures.

Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and willingness to work in shifts if required.

Relevant technical diploma, trade certification, or equivalent practical experience in machining or mechanical engineering is an advantage.
