Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain protocol stacks across various network layers (OSI model).
Implement and optimize transport protocols (TCP, UDP) and network protocols (IP, ICMP, ARP).
Enhance and maintain existing network stack components such as socket libraries and network drivers.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network-related issues.
Profile and optimize network performance (latency, throughput, packet loss).
Improve protocol scalability, reliability, and system performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless protocol integration.
Prepare documentation, including usage guidelines and best practices.
Explore emerging networking technologies and standards.
Work closely with hardware engineers, firmware developers, and system architects.
Participate in design discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews.
