DevOps Engineer , Kubernetes & Azure (AKS)

Role Summary

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with solid expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). The candidate will be responsible for deploying, managing, troubleshooting, and securing containerized microservices while ensuring high availability, scalability, and operational excellence across cloud-native environments.

Key Responsibilities

Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads on Azure AKS.

Develop and maintain Helm charts for microservices deployment.

Manage Docker images, container registries, and image lifecycle.

Configure Kubernetes resources including Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, ConfigMaps, and Secrets.

Monitor, debug, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and containerized applications.

Implement Kubernetes security, RBAC, network policies, and pod security best practices.

Support CI/CD deployments, scaling, backup, recovery, and release management.

Collaborate with development teams to improve platform reliability and automation.

Must-Have Skills

Solid experience with Kubernetes (Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets).

Expertise in Docker,



multi-stage builds, and image optimization.

Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and Azure Container Registry (ACR).

Hands-on experience with Helm chart development and deployment.

Knowledge of: Pod lifecycle management

Liveness & Readiness probes

Service discovery and DNS

ConfigMap & Secret injection

Pod debugging and log analysis

Resource requests & limits

Pod affinity/anti-affinity

RBAC

Network Policies

CRDs

Admission Controllers

Pod Security

Experience troubleshooting pod crashes, scaling, and performance issues.

Valuable-to-Have Skills

Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, and Kibana.

Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Containers.

Experience with Kubernetes dashboard tools such as Lens or K9s.

Understanding of backup and disaster recovery strategies for StatefulSets.

Experience working with cloud-native microservices architectures.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related Engineering discipline.
