The Merchandiser is responsible for end-to-end order execution—from buyer communication and costing to production follow-up and shipment—ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and profitability in kidswear manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Buyer Communication & Order Handling
Act as main contact between buyer and factory.
Handle inquiries, sampling approvals, and order confirmations.
Product Development & Sampling
Coordinate proto, fit, and PP samples.
Track approvals and feedback.
Costing & Order Booking
Prepare costing and manage order booking with T&A.;
Fabric & Trim Coordination
Ensure timely availability and approvals.
Production Planning & Follow-up
Monitor production and timelines.
Quality & Compliance
Ensure buyer standards and inspections.
Shipment & Documentation
Manage packing and shipping documents.
Problem Solving
Resolve delays and escalate issues.
Reporting
Maintain T&A;, order sheets, trackers.
