Key Role & Responsibilities:
Analyse market trends and vendor sourcing & development.
Develop, Lead, implement procurement strategies and budget.
Maintain robust relationships with existing suppliers & Price negotiation with suppliers fostering competition and potentially leading to better pricing.
Renegotiate payment terms, lead times, or service level agreements with current vendors for cost reduction.
Implement robust supplier management practices, including performance monitoring and risk management.
Oversee and manage the procurement staff; hire, train, and evaluate team members.
Ensure ethical procurement practices and adherence to corporate and legal regulations.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure products meet quality standards and compliance requirements.
Required Candidate Profile
Postgraduate / Bachelor’s degree
Minimum 8 years of experience in procurement or purchasing in houseware industry
Robust negotiation and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Preferable Experience with ERP systems
Immediate Joiner Preferable.
