Role & responsibilities
Manage & support Oracle databases (11g, 12c, 19c) in a production setting.
Hands-on experience with Oracle RAC for high availability and clustering.
Perform database monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Handle L2 incidents, patching, and backup/recovery (RMAN).
Work with Data Guard for disaster recovery and replication.
Implement security policies, user access controls, and database auditing.
Automate routine tasks using Shell scripting or PL/SQL.
Collaborate with application teams and escalate critical issues to L3 support.
