Role & responsibilities
Plans, directs, monitors and appraises the performance of the nursing staff and drives their performance towards outstanding results.
Motivates and encourages the nursing staff to develop advances in nursing, patient care and service.
Check and finalise the duty roaster and plans the staff leave
Check attendance and punctuality of the staff in the unit
Conduct regular staff meeting to resolve problems
Review the stock position of all items and indent the same
Planning staff requirement, interview the nursing staff and assist in the selection of staff nurses
Provide in service training to all staff
Develop team spirit in the department
To keep informed on the changes in policies to the staff
Gives counseling and guidance to the nursing department
Maintain discipline in the department and intimate the HR department if any violation
Preferred candidate profile Positive knowledge of NABH.
