Purchase Executive – Roles & Responsibilities
Identify and develop reliable suppliers for raw materials, consumables, spare parts, and other requirements.
Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and compare prices, quality, and delivery terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after obtaining the necessary approvals.
Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with stores, production, maintenance, and accounts departments for smooth procurement activities.
Verify purchase requisitions and ensure materials are purchased as per the approved requirements.
Monitor inventory levels and plan purchases to avoid stock shortages or excess inventory.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions with suppliers.
Ensure all purchased materials meet the required quality standards and specifications.
Verify supplier invoices and supporting documents before forwarding them to the accounts department for payment.
Track pending purchase orders and resolve delays, shortages, or quality issues with suppliers.




Maintain supplier database, purchase records, contracts, and other procurement documents.
Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, and delivery.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase reports and MIS for management.
Coordinate with logistics and transport providers for timely delivery of materials.
Ensure compliance with company purchase policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
Support cost-saving initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers and better purchasing prospects.
Build and maintain valuable relationships with suppliers for long-term business.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Purchase Manager or Management.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
