Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement activities for a manufacturing organization. The role will be responsible for vendor development, material sourcing, price negotiation, purchase order processing, delivery follow-up, cost control, and coordination with internal departments to ensure timely availability of materials.

Key Responsibilities
Handle complete purchase process including PR review, RFQ, quotation comparison, negotiation, PO release, and delivery follow-up.
Source and procure materials, components, consumables, tools, fabrication items, machining parts, electrical and mechanical items as per requirement.
Develop current vendors and maintain solid relationships with existing suppliers.
Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery timelines, and commercial conditions with vendors.
Coordinate with Production, Quality, Stores, Finance, R&D;, and Project teams for material requirements.
Ensure timely material availability to avoid production delays.




Maintain purchase records, vendor data, price comparison sheets, PO trackers, and MIS reports.
Monitor vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
Support cost-saving initiatives and process improvements in purchase activities.
Ensure purchase activities follow company policy, approval process, and documentation standards.

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field. MBA / PGDM in Supply Chain or Operations will be preferred.
