Grade 1 & Grade 2 Maths & Science Teacher (Major Subject: Mathematics) School: Kanakia International School, IGCSE, Bhayander Position Summary Kanakia International School, IGCSE, Bhayander is seeking a passionate, enthusiastic, and student-focused Maths & Science Teacher for Grades 1 and 2. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Mathematics while effectively integrating Science concepts through engaging, inquiry-based, and hands-on learning experiences aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities Teach Mathematics as the major subject and Science to students in Grades 1 and 2.

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary (IGCSE) curriculum.

Develop students' numerical reasoning, problem-solving, and scientific inquiry skills.

Create an inclusive, interactive, and positive classroom environment.

Use activity-based, experiential, and differentiated teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs.

Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and maintain accurate academic records.

Provide timely feedback to students and parents regarding academic progress.





Integrate technology and creative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.

Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, career development programmes, and curriculum planning.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and student learning outcomes.

Ensure student safety, discipline, and well-being at all times.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Science, Mathematics, or a related field.

B.Ed. (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory.

Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum experience is preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in Primary Grades is preferred.
