Role & responsibilities
Ensures proper handover and operational continuity across all pharmacy shifts.
Organizes and coordinates all resources within the main pharmacy, sub-stores, and dispensing areas.
Checks all incoming medical supplies, formulations, and consumables at the receiving bay to ensure strict quality standards.
Ensures medications prepared for inpatients, outpatients, and satellite units follow all legal guidelines, storage temperatures, and sanitation rules.
Overcomes and resolves all patient, visitor, or nursing staff complaints related to pharmacy services promptly.
Keeps senior leadership informed about emerging supply chain risks, regulatory changes, or operational issues, and provides proactive solutions.
Enforces strict discipline among pharmacists, executives, and support staff while implementing corporate HR policies.
Ensures proper sorting of high-value drugs, narcotics, and look-alike sound-alike (LASA) medications, alongside daily cleaning of walk-in chillers.
Maintains various statutory records, narcotics registers, error logs, and operational compliance checklists.
Performs any other duties and strategic projects assigned by the reporting manager.
