Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Purchase Manager role based in Chandigarh.

The Purchase

Manager will oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including vendor identification, negotiation, and finalization of contracts for raw materials, components, and services. The role involves monitoring inventory levels, coordinating with production, logistics, and finance teams, and ensuring timely availability of materials at optimal cost and quality.

Manager will analyze market trends, evaluate supplier performance, maintain accurate purchase records, and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations. The role also includes developing long-term sourcing strategies,



optimizing procurement processes, and supporting cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

Strong procurement and vendor management skills, including vendor evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.

Ability to manage inventory, plan material requirements, and coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Proficiency in using ERP or purchasing software, MS Excel, and data analysis tools for procurement planning.

Knowledge of supply chain management, costing, and basic commercial terms related to imports and exports.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and relationship-building abilities.

Attention to detail, solid analytical and problem-solving skills, and a structured approach to documentation.

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field; a relevant postgraduate qualification or skilled certification in procurement/supply chain is an advantage.

Experience in manufacturing or export-oriented industries is preferred, along with familiarity with quality standards and compliance requirements.
