Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Engineer to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, directing, and optimizing manufacturing processes, tooling, and assembly line operations to ensure smooth production of high-quality automotive components. You will work closely with cross-functional teams in Quality, Maintenance, and R&D; to improve production efficiency, reduce cycle times, and maintain safety and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities
Process Engineering & Optimization:
Design, evaluate, and optimize manufacturing workflows and line layouts to reduce cycle time and eliminate waste.
Implement Lean Manufacturing methodologies, 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma to improve shop-floor efficiency.
Prepare and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WI), and Control Plans.

Production & Manpower Handling:
Monitor daily production targets, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Supervise, train,



and guide shop-floor operators and technicians on standard operating procedures and safety standards.
Ensure strict adherence to Workplace, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and guidelines.

Key Qualifications & Requirements
Education: Bachelors degree (B.E. / B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in auto component manufacturing (e.g., machining, sheet metal, plastic molding, assembly lines, or casting).
Technical Skills:
Deep understanding of automotive manufacturing processes (CNC machining, press shop, welding, surface finishing, assembly).
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo) for reading/designing fixture drawings.
Solid knowledge of Quality Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA).
Familiarity with ISO/IATF 16949 quality management standards.
Soft Skills:
Robust problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
Excellent leadership and manpower handling skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
