Must-Have Skills
Proficiency in Physical Design.
Solid knowledge of placement and routing methodologies within IC design.
Experience with clock tree synthesis and timing closure techniques.
Familiarity with design for manufacturability and design rule checks.
Ability to analyze and optimize power, area, and timing trade-offs.
Competence in using EDA tools relevant to physical design.
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of skilled experience in Physical Design.
15 years of full time education (Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field).
