Hiring: Project Procurement – Mechanical (Greenfield Projects)

About the Role

We are looking for a high-impact Project Procurement professional to drive end-to-end procurement for large-scale greenfield projects. This role offers ownership of critical mechanical procurement packages and the opportunity to directly influence project cost, timelines, and execution success.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

End-to-End Project Procurement Ownership
Lead procurement of critical mechanical equipment & packages (static, rotating, and bulk)
Drive sourcing strategy, vendor selection, and commercial negotiations

Techno-Commercial Leadership
Evaluate technical specifications, drawings, and BOQs
Lead techno-commercial comparisons (TCC) and finalize purchase orders
Ensure compliance with global standards (ASME, API, ISO, etc.)

Vendor Strategy & Development
Build and manage a strong vendor ecosystem
Drive vendor performance, audits, and long-term partnerships

Project Execution & Expediting
Align procurement with project timelines
Ensure timely delivery through proactive expediting, inspections,



and logistics coordination

Cost Optimization & Governance
Deliver measurable cost savings via value engineering and alternate sourcing
Ensure procurement within budget and policy compliance

What We’re Looking For
8–10 years of experience in project procurement (mechanical equipment / packages / bulk)
Robust exposure to Chemicals, Pharma, Heavy Engineering, Steel, or Manufacturing sectors
Solid understanding of mechanical systems, drawings, and specifications
Proven expertise in negotiation, contracts, and vendor management
