Job Purpose The Team Teacher supports the Mother Teacher in creating a nurturing, engaging, and protected learning environment for young learners (Nursery to Grade 2).

The role focuses on assisting in classroom instruction, student care, and smooth classroom operations while gaining hands-on teaching experience.

The Team Teacher plays a key role in ensuring student well-being, supporting learning activities, and building positive relationships with children.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Curriculum Planning & Instruction
Assist in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
Support play-based and experiential learning
Help manage small group learning and individual attention
Classroom Setting
Maintain a warm, safe, and organized classroom
Support routines and transitions smoothly
Encourage positive behaviour and participation
Student Support




Provide individual attention to students
Assist children in developing basic literacy and numeracy skills
Support emotional and social development
Classroom Management & Safety
Ensure hygiene, safety, and well-being of students
Assist in supervision during activities and transitions
Follow all safeguarding protocols
Parent Interaction Support
Assist in maintaining student records and observations
Support documentation of student work and portfolios
Help in preparing basic reports
Collaboration
Work closely with Mother Teacher and staff
Participate in school activities and events
