We are looking for a qualified and experienced Attending Consultant / Associate Consultant Radiology & Imaging to join our hospital. The incumbent will be responsible for accurate interpretation of diagnostic imaging, patient evaluation, reporting, and collaboration with clinical teams to support timely and effective diagnosis and treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and interpret X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI, Doppler, and other diagnostic imaging studies as per expertise.
Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely radiology reports.
Review clinical history and correlate imaging findings with patient symptoms and laboratory results.
Perform image-guided diagnostic and interventional procedures, where qualified.
Ensure appropriate imaging protocols are followed for different clinical conditions.
Communicate critical findings promptly to the concerned clinicians.
Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and case discussions.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols, radiation safety standards, and quality standards.
Maintain proper documentation and patient records.
Guide and mentor Radiology residents, junior doctors, and technicians, as applicable.
Contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, and departmental academic activities.
Ensure high standards of patient care, safety, and confidentiality.
Qualification
MD / DNB / DMRD in Radiology / Radio Diagnosis from a recognized institution.
Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
Additional fellowship/certification in specialized imaging or interventional radiology will be an added advantage.
Experience
Associate Consultant: Relevant experience in Radiology & Imaging; fresh MD/DNB candidates may also be considered based on hospital requirements.
Attending Consultant: Preferably 3–7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in a reputed hospital/diagnostic centre.
