Role: QA Lead (Automation Focus)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a QA Lead who can take end-to-end ownership of quality across our products. This role will be responsible for setting up and driving QA automation, improving testing processes, and ensuring high reliability across releases.Key Responsibilities:
Own the QA function end-to-end across products and releases
Design and implement robust automation frameworks (preferably using Playwright)
Define and enforce QA processes, standards, and best practices
Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure quality from early stages
Drive test planning, test case design, and execution (manual + automated)
Identify gaps in current testing practices and improve coverage
Monitor and improve release quality metrics
Mentor and scale the QA function over time

Requirements:




5+ years of experience in QA, with strong focus on automation
Hands-on experience with Playwright (preferred) or similar frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, etc.)
Robust understanding of web application testing and APIs
Experience in building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch
Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum processes
Solid problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Positive to Have:
Experience in SaaS products
Exposure to performance testing and security testing
Basic understanding of backend systems and databases
