We are looking for a detail-oriented QC Engineer – Civil to ensure that all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements. The ideal candidate should have a robust understanding of quality control procedures and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and inspect civil construction works to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality standards.
Conduct material inspections and verify test reports.
Perform site quality inspections and prepare inspection reports.
Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors regarding quality-related issues.
Ensure all work complies with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations.
Maintain quality documentation, checklists, and records.
Identify non-conformities and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
Assist in project handover by ensuring all quality requirements are fulfilled.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
2–5 years of experience in quality control for building construction projects.
Sound knowledge of construction materials, quality standards, and testing procedures.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings.
Valuable communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and quality documentation.
