The Centre works with stakeholders across government, civil society, and the private sector to generate rigorous analysis and practical policy recommendations.

Role Description The Public Policy Research Intern will support research projects by conducting literature reviews, collecting and organizing data, and assisting in quantitative and qualitative analysis. Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting research notes, preparing briefs and presentations, and contributing to policy reports and articles under the guidance of senior researchers.

The intern will help monitor policy developments, track relevant economic and social indicators, and participate in internal discussions on research design and methodology. This is a full-time hybrid role based in Gurugram,



with a combination of in office work at the Consciento Centre office and some work-from-home flexibility.

Qualifications
Solid Policy Research and Research skills, with the ability to design questions, review literature, and synthesize findings.
Excellent Analytical Skills, including comfort with data interpretation, basic statistics, and structured problem-solving.
Solid understanding of Economics or public policy concepts, preferably through academic coursework or practical experience.
Effective Communication skills, including explicit writing, editing, and the ability to present complex ideas in an accessible manner.
Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Economics, Public Policy, Political Science, Sociology, or a related field.
Proficiency in office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, presentation software); familiarity with data analysis tools is an advantage.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
Demonstrated interest in public policy, governance, and social impact through academic projects, internships, or volunteer work.
