Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Engineer role based in Mumbai, focused on non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass, and aluminum flat rolled products.

The Sales

Engineer will identify and develop current business opportunities, manage existing customer relationships, and provide technical guidance on product selection and applications. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing and delivering technical sales presentations, responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with internal teams on pricing and logistics, and ensuring timely order fulfillment.



The role also involves conducting market research, monitoring competitor activities, and contributing to sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.

Qualifications

Strong Sales Engineering and Technical Support skills, with the ability to understand material specifications and applications.

Proficiency in Sales and Customer Service, including lead generation, negotiation, and post-sales support.

Excellent Communication skills for interacting with customers, internal teams, and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of non-ferrous metals (copper, brass, aluminum) and their industrial uses is highly beneficial.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy, or a related field preferred.

Proven experience in industrial or B2B sales, ideally within metals, manufacturing, or related sectors.

Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, travel to customer locations as needed, and manage multiple accounts effectively.

Robust analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
