The role involves managing the end-to-end quality of both Freelancers (FLs) and In-house Editors (IHEs) by ensuring the delivery of high-quality editorial services.
The incumbent will be responsible for editing, proofreading, and reviewing academic documents with speed, accuracy, and precision while conducting regular quality audits to monitor and enhance editor performance.
The role also includes analyzing client complaints, identifying root causes, implementing corrective actions, and monitoring quality trends to support informed decision-making.
Additionally, the candidate will explain grammatical concepts, ensure adherence to editorial processes, create and maintain learning resources, resolve editorial and process-related queries from FLs and IHEs, and conduct training sessions on English language standards and in-house editorial workflows.
The position also requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Project Management, Client Servicing, and Freelancer Recruitment, to address client concerns, manage projects, hire high-quality freelancers, and support editorial consultations.
The candidate will play a key role in driving continuous learning and development initiatives for editors, contributing to special client projects, participating in process improvement and developmental activities, and preparing data-driven analyses and reports as required to support operational excellence.
