Position: Purchase Assistant

Department: Purchase & Stores

Location: Ananthapur (Mudigubba), Andhra Pradesh

CTC: 3.5 LPA (Approx. 35,000 per month).

Experience: 25 Years

Qualification: Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or any relevant discipline.

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase to support procurement and inventory operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for purchase activities, vendor coordination, inventory management, material receipts/issues, and maintaining accurate records to ensure smooth plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase
Assist in procurement of mechanical, electrical, civil, and general consumables.
Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs).
Obtain quotations from vendors and prepare comparative statements.
Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
Follow up on pending purchase orders and deliveries.




Verify invoices and supporting documents before submission to Accounts.
Maintain vendor database and procurement documentation.
Coordinate with user departments, Stores, and Finance for smooth procurement activities.

Required Skills
Knowledge of procurement and inventory management processes.
Experience with ERP/SAP or inventory management software.
Positive knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
Positive communication and vendor coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Robust analytical and organisational skills.
