About the Role

Saburi Ply is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Area Sales Manager to lead sales operations across Jharkhand. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in the Building Materials industry, with a robust track record of driving sales growth, expanding channel networks, and managing key customer relationships. Candidates with experience in the Plywood industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Develop and strengthen the dealer, distributor, and retailer network across Jharkhand.
Identify recent business opportunities and drive market expansion.
Build solid relationships with dealers, architects, contractors, builders, and institutional customers.
Lead territory development initiatives to increase market share and brand visibility.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends.
Ensure timely collections and maintain healthy receivables.
Conduct dealer meets, carpenter meets, promotional campaigns, and product demonstrations.
Mentor and support junior sales team members to improve performance.
Coordinate with the marketing and head office teams to execute sales and promotional initiatives.




Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance reviews.

Eligibility Criteria
Experience: 8–12 years in the Building Materials industry.
Minimum 2–3 years' experience as an Area Sales Manager or Senior Area Sales Manager preferred.
Experience in the Plywood industry will be an added advantage.
Strong dealer and distributor network across Jharkhand.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and sales reporting.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
