Ambar Group is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales & Marketing Engineer to manage and expand our customer base across the Pune region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing recent business prospects while strengthening relationships with existing OEM and Tier-1 customers in the automotive and off-highway sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow business with customers across the Pune region.
Identify and develop new business opportunities with OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers.
Visit customers regularly to understand their requirements and build long-term relationships.
Handle RFQs, prepare techno-commercial quotations, and negotiate commercial terms.
Coordinate with engineering, production, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of customer requirements.
Track customer projects from inquiry to production launch.
Conduct market research and monitor competitor activities.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and customer visit reports.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
3–7 years of experience in B2B sales and marketing, preferably in forgings, machining, automotive components, or industrial manufacturing.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated with a willingness to travel extensively across Pune and nearby industrial regions.
