The Senior Electrical Engineer at our client in cutting-edge renewable energy sector (in Sydney, Australia) will lead electrical engineering design efforts ensuring effective, compliant, and optimized solutions. This role involves designing and reviewing electrical subsystems and collaborating with external service providers.

Key Experience And Skills
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years in electrical design engineering.
Medium Voltage (MV) systems, including rotating machines, motor controls, and V3F drives.
Distribution systems, 2D CAD for SLDs, engineering process management.
Commissioning, testing, and mining or electricity sector knowledge is preferred.
Skills:
Proficient in electrical engineering calculations (simulation, analysis etc.).




Proficient in developing SLDs, schematics, and managing engineering documentation.
Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical skills, and data-based decision-making.
Technical report writing, specification delivery, and contractor management.
Robust written communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications
Bachelors in electrical engineering.
Preferably but not mandatory: Membership with Engineers Australia (EA) and eligibility for CPEng status, with plans for NER and RPEQ certifications.
