Role Description This is a full time Sales Officer role based in Rajnandgaon with a hybrid work arrangement, allowing some work from home along with regular field and office activities.
The Sales
Officer will manage existing customer relationships, respond to inquiries, and ensure timely support to dealers and farmers. Daily responsibilities include generating leads, visiting market areas, promoting products, and coordinating channel sales with distributors and retailers. The role involves planning and executing sales activities, tracking sales operations data, preparing reports,
and sharing market feedback with the management team.
The Sales
Officer will collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth order processing, timely delivery, and achievement of sales targets.
Qualifications Candidates should possess robust Customer Service and Communication skills to interact effectively with dealers, farmers, and internal teams.
Candidates should possess Lead Generation and Sales Operations skills to identify opportunities, manage pipelines, and maintain accurate sales records.
Candidates should possess Channel Sales experience to work with distributors, retailers, and other partners in the agricultural market.
Positive knowledge of agricultural products or willingness to learn about agro-chemicals and farming practices.
Ability to travel within the assigned territory and work in a hybrid setup based in Rajnandgaon.
Proficiency in basic computer applications and reporting tools.
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, or a related field is preferred; relevant sales experience in agri or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
