ob Role: Retail Sales Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescription medicines accurately as per doctor's prescriptions.
Verify prescriptions for dosage, drug interactions, and contraindications.
Counsel patients on the proper use of medicines, dosage, side effects, and storage.
Recommend suitable over-the-counter (OTC) medications for minor ailments.
Maintain inventory of medicines and healthcare products.
Monitor stock levels, expiry dates, and storage conditions.
Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and licensing requirements.
Handle billing, cash, POS/EDC transactions, and daily sales reconciliation.
Coordinate with suppliers for procurement and replenishment of stock.
Maintain patient confidentiality and accurate pharmacy records.
Resolve customer queries and provide high-quality customer service.
Supervise pharmacy assistants and ensure smooth store operations.

Required Qualifications:




Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
Valid Pharmacist Registration Certificate from the State Pharmacy Council.
Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and applicable regulations.
Basic computer and billing/POS system skills.
Solid communication and customer service abilities.
