Job Title: SQL Developer

Location: Onsite Hyderabad, India

Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities:
Analyze, design, and implement indexing strategies across key database tables.
Optimize complex SQL queries, views, and stored procedures for performance and scalability.
Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.
Monitor database health using tools like SQL Server Profiler, Extended Events, Query Store, and third-party performance monitoring tools.
Collaborate with application developers to review data access patterns and improve ORM efficiency (e.g., Entity Framework).
Conduct regular performance tuning reviews and provide recommendations.
Design and implement database maintenance plans (backups, indexing, statistics updates, etc.).
Develop and maintain documentation related to database design and optimization strategies.
Ensure database security, integrity, and availability in production environments.
5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2016+ preferred) with a strong focus on performance tuning and optimization.
Strong understanding of database indexing, normalization, and denormalization strategies.
Experience in optimizing large and complex stored procedures and SQL queries.
Hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools for SQL Server performance.




Familiarity with .NET-based applications and ORM frameworks like Entity Framework.
Experience in scaling SaaS applications is a solid plus.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience with Azure SQL Database or other cloud-based databases.
Exposure to NoSQL or hybrid database architectures.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices related to DB changes.
Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in SQL Server (2016+ preferred) with a robust focus on performance tuning and optimization.

Strong understanding of database indexing, normalization, and denormalization strategies.

Experience in optimizing large and complex stored procedures and SQL queries.

Hands-on experience with monitoring and diagnostic tools for SQL Server performance.
