Position: Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Proposals & Applications

Location: Chakan, Pune

Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

Experience: 3–6 Years Job Summary :
Magwen Valves Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a energetic and detail-oriented Senior Engineer / Assistant Manager – Proposals & Applications to manage techno-commercial proposals, application engineering, tender evaluation, and customer coordination for domestic and international projects. The ideal candidate should have experience in the valve industry with a solid understanding of API, ASME, ISO, and customer specifications. Key Responsibilities:
Review customer enquiries, RFQs, tender documents, specifications, and datasheets.

Prepare and submit pre-qualification (PQ) documents for vendor registrations and project qualifications.

Develop techno-commercial proposals for domestic, export, EPC, PSU, water, and oil & gas projects.

Select appropriate valve configurations, materials, standards,



and actuation systems based on application requirements.

Prepare costing sheets, compliance statements, deviation lists, and commercial offers.

Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Purchase, Production, and vendors to obtain technical inputs.

Maintain customer specifications, technical documentation, PQ records, and QMS/API/ISO audit-related documents.

Participate in technical discussions and clarification meetings with customers and internal teams.

Support export documentation requirements and provide inputs related to INCOTERMS.

Ensure timely submission of quotations and provide regular status updates to management.

Drive continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with company procedures, QMS, and QHSE requirements.
