Role Description The Senior Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain core components of dotEYE’s integrated retail technology platform, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and performance.

Responsibilities include architecting backend services, implementing robust APIs, optimizing data flows for analytics, and collaborating closely with product, QA, and support teams to deliver high-quality features. The role involves code reviews, mentoring other engineers, improving engineering practices, and troubleshooting complex production issues. This is a full time, in office role based in the Greater Visakhapatnam Area, requiring close collaboration with cross-functional teams and participation in technical planning and strategy.

Qualifications
Strong foundation in Computer Science, including data structures, algorithms, and software architecture principles.
Proficiency in Software Development and Programming, with experience building and maintaining production-grade systems.




Hands-on experience in Back-End Web Development, including RESTful APIs, microservices, and database integration.
Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and best practices in modular, maintainable code design.
Experience with modern programming languages commonly used in backend systems (e.g., Java, C#, Python, Go, or similar).
Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines for deploying and scaling applications.
Ability to analyze complex technical problems, propose solutions, and drive them to completion in a team-oriented environment.
Prior experience leading projects or mentoring engineers in a product-focused or startup environment is highly beneficial.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
