As a Spacecraft Electrical AIT Engineer, you will lead the integration and testing of spacecraft electrical systems, ensuring end-to-end system readiness for launch. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on the validation of complex, highly integrated electronic systems used in space missions.
Key Responsibilities
Create and manage all test documentation including test matrices, procedures, scripts, and final reports
Oversee electrical AIT (Assembly, Integration & Test) processes in collaboration with Quality Control (QC)
Define and prepare Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) requirements
Support and participate in environmental tests (TVAC, Vibration, Acoustic, EMI/EMC) at the satellite level
Manage non-conformance and anomaly investigations, proposing corrective actions
Support pre-launch activities and launch campaigns (typically 5–8 weeks)
Maintain compliance with ISO 14644-1 cleanroom standards
Ensure all activities are completed within defined timelines and resources
Must-Have Skills
Proficient with electrical tools and test aids (e.g., multimeters, oscilloscopes, breakout boxes)
Robust understanding of electrical signal characterization
Experience working with EGSE and spacecraft connector mating/demating
Capable of writing test procedures, non-conformance reports, and automation scripts
Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
3+ years of hands-on experience with spacecraft or high-reliability systems
Experience with test script development, preferably in Python or similar scripting languages
Familiarity with space system standards and launch campaign operations
Demonstrated interdisciplinary and problem-solving skills in fast-paced environments
