Role & responsibilities
Answering the phone and providing basic information about restaurant services and operating hours or assisting with the scheduling of reservations
Maintaining clean and sanitised menus for guest use
Refilling drinks as required
Rolling and replacing cutlery as required
Maintaining stocked serving stations with condiments, trays and napkins
Directing customers to the location of the restrooms
Clearing tables as guests finish their meals
Complying with all safety and sanitation procedures
Assisting kitchen staff with the preparation of easy dishes such as salads and desserts

Preferred candidate profile
High school or diploma in Hotel Mgmt.
1 to 3 years of prior stewarding or kitchen utility experience.
Background in high-volume hotels, restaurants, or cruise lines.
Physical strength to lift heavy loads (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long shifts.
Quick time management and multi-tasking during peak hours
Courteous, helpful, and friendly attitude toward guests and staff.
Strong communication for working closely with kitchen and wait staff.
Calm and reliable performance under high-pressure settings.
