We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Special Education Counsellor to support students with diverse learning needs. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to ensure an inclusive learning workplace and promote the academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development of students with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assess and identify students with learning, developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs.

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

Provide one-on-one and small-group counselling and intervention sessions.

Support students with learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and other special educational needs.

Collaborate with teachers to implement classroom accommodations and inclusive teaching strategies.

Conduct parent counselling sessions and provide regular progress updates.

Maintain confidential student records, assessments, and progress reports.





Conduct workshops and awareness programs for teachers and parents on inclusive education and student well-being.

Ensure compliance with CBSE guidelines, child protection, and safeguarding policies.

Participate in school meetings, student reviews, and multidisciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Special Education, Rehabilitation Psychology, or a related field.

B.Ed. in Special Education and/or RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration is preferred.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a CBSE/ICSE/Cambridge or reputed school.
