As a technician, the candidate is expected to carry out the following functions
Manage and maintain labs
Lab inventory management
Upkeep and regular assessment of all lab machines and hardware
Setting up recent lab machines and hardware including Operating system and software installation
Recovering devices by downloading device firmware
Troubleshooting hardware issues
Tracking work in issue-management tool
Regular reporting via e-mails
Executing tests for nightly and release regressions
Analyzing and reporting test results for all regression test runs
Coordinating with development team members to get the issues fixed in the test executions
simple scripting via python, shell, bash Qualifications




B.Sc./B.E in Computer Science or equivalent with 5+ years experience in the software and hardware support domain
At least 3 years hands on experience handling computer and electronic hardware devices.
At least 2 years hands on experience in Operating systems installations, configuration and debug
Basic proficiency in straightforward scripting via python, shell or bash
Positive communication skills - verbal and written
Experience handling SSD storage devices is a plus
Experience working across geographies is a plus
