We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Structural Engineer to join our team. The Junior Structural Engineer will work under the guidance of senior engineers to assist in the design, analysis, and evaluation of structural systems for various projects. The role involves performing calculations, preparing technical reports, and supporting the development of construction drawings and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems, including buildings, and other infrastructure.
Perform structural calculations and simulations to ensure the integrity and safety of designs.
Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and calculations for review by senior engineers.
Support the development of construction drawings, specifications, and other project-related documentation.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess the condition of existing structures and ensure compliance with design specifications.
Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure successful project delivery.
Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
Stay up to date with industry standards, building codes, and current technologies related to structural engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field.
Familiarity with structural analysis software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD Pro, etc.) is an advantage.
Basic understanding of structural design principles, building codes, and engineering standards.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
