Mandatory Skills: Game Development, Unreal Engine, C++, Debugging, Profiling :
We are looking for a proficient Unreal Engine programmer to support in development of games of various genre and rendering fidelity. As part of hero project dev support team, (s)he will be responsible for aiding in issues raised by the hero project game studios in various domains, like gameplay systems, animation, rendering and audio. Will also be collaborating with studios to guide them in debugging and fixing issues related to the PlayStation platform builds.
To identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and optimize the game by implementing efficient algorithms and systems related to various aspects of the game (Game functionality, AI behaviour, Physics, Materials). Create and maintain technical documentation. Ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
MANDATORY SKILLS
Strong knowledge of Unreal Engine and its gameplay systems.
Experience with game development and understanding of game design principles.
Proficiency in C++ programming, blueprints and OOPS concepts.
Very good understanding on various animation concepts (blend shapes, IK, FK, retargeting, morphable models etc.)
Knowledge of Unreal debugging and profiling tools.
Excellent understanding of Unreal build systems, modules and plugins workflow.
Positive problem solving and debugging skills.
Familiarity with source control systems (perforce, git)
Prior experience with Unreal Engine based Game development (at least 1 shipped title).
Ability to write optimized code focusing on performance.
Very positive technical ownership & communication skills.
GOOD TO HAVE
Knowledge of texturing, shading and lighting.
Understanding of Computer Graphics concepts (graphics pipelines and shader programming)
Console programming experience (Prospero/ Orbis SDK)
Prior DLC, patch or energetic content loading and management experience
