Job Purpose The Teaching Assistant (TA) supports faculty members in delivering high-quality teaching, learning, assessment, and academic administration. The role involves assisting in course preparation, conducting tutorials and laboratory sessions, evaluating assignments, mentoring students, and ensuring smooth execution of academic activities while maintaining academic standards and student engagement.

Key Responsibilities
- Academic Support
Assist faculty in planning and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and laboratory sessions.
Conduct tutorial classes, doubt-clearing sessions, and revision sessions under faculty guidance and or in absence of faculty.
Support experiential learning activities, role plays, projects, simulations, and case-study discussions.
Develop teaching material under the guidance of Professor.
Assist in managing Learning Management Systems (LMS) and digital learning platforms like Transform.
Provide academic support, monitor student participation, and attend to their queries related to coursework, assignments,



and assessments.
Assessment & Evaluation
- Assist faculty in preparing quizzes, assignments, examinations, and evaluation rubrics.
Evaluate assignments, projects, and assessments as per guidelines provided by faculty.
Maintain assessment records and ensure timely submission of marks.
Provide constructive feedback to students to improve learning outcomes.
Laboratory / Practical Session Management
Support practical sessions, workshops, coding labs, and demonstrations.
Ensure readiness of equipment, software, datasets, and learning resources and laboratory protocols.
Assist students along with Lab assistants in laboratory exercises and project implementation.
Academic Administration
- Maintain course files, attendance records, assessment records, and academic documentation along with the faculty and uploading the same on Transform.
Coordinate with faculty, academic office, and students regarding course-related activities.
Support accreditation, audit, and compliance documentation as required.
Research & Content Development
- Assist faculty in literature reviews, data collection, and research activities
