Role Description The Visa Counselor role is a full time, on-site position based in Jalandhar.

The Visa

Counselor will guide clients through visa and immigration processes, including initial consultation, eligibility assessment, documentation support, and application submission. Daily responsibilities include conducting client meetings, explaining program options and requirements, verifying documents, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders as needed. The role also involves staying updated on immigration policies, managing follow-ups with clients, responding to inquiries, and providing transparent communication at each stage of the process.





The Visa

Counselor will contribute to achieving team targets while maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance.

Qualifications

Strong client-facing skills, including clear communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information in an accessible manner.

Proficiency in documentation handling, record keeping, and attention to detail to ensure accurate and compliant applications.

Ability to quickly learn and apply immigration rules, policies, and procedures, with a focus on continuous updating of knowledge.

Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple cases, follow-ups, and deadlines effectively.

Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM or case management systems, and online application portals.

Prior experience in visa counseling, immigration consulting, or education counseling is preferred but not mandatory.

Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; coursework or certification in immigration, international education, or related fields is an advantage.

Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, maintain professional ethics, and support a diverse client base without bias.
