Responsibilities
Supervise daily production activities including fabrication, welding, assembly, and fitting work.
Allocate work to technicians, welders, fitters, and helpers as per job requirements.
Ensure work is carried out according to engineering drawings and work instructions.
Monitor productivity and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
Coordinate with production manager, QA/QC, and planning teams.
Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment on site.
Inspect ongoing work and ensure quality compliance at each stage.
Identify and report production delays, issues, or manpower shortages.
Ensure adherence to safety rules, PPE usage, and site regulations.
Maintain daily work reports and update progress to senior management.
Support in reducing rework, wastage, and downtime.
