Role & responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites, themes, and plugins.
Build scalable backend applications using PHP and integrate them with frontend components.
Develop responsive and user-friendly web interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Design and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.
Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, and RESTful web services.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.
Optimize website performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and project managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Follow coding standards, version control practices (Git), and software development best practices.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
Prepare technical documentation and support deployment activities.
Ensure applications are compatible across multiple browsers and devices.

Preferred candidate profile




Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
26 years of hands-on experience in PHP and WordPress development.
Robust experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
Proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
Positive understanding of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
Experience with Git or other version control systems.
Knowledge of website security, performance optimization, and debugging techniques.
Familiarity with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.
Solid analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile development environment.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deliver projects within deadlines.
